A floral and complex coffee from the backyard.
Ethiopia is considered by many to be the birthplace of coffee. It is where, 1,500 years ago, the goat herder (Kaldi) saw his goats bouncing around after eating coffee berries and decided to make a drink from them.
This coffee comes from the backyards (at 1,700 meters above sea level) of a select group of coffee farmers from Yirgacheffe, in southern Ethiopia. The coffee is then processed using the washed processing method. What remains is a complex coffee. Super clean, floral, and with notes of chamomile, marzipan, and vanilla.
