About the Coffee

In Kinyarwanda, Nyampinga means 'beautiful women, inside and out'. The cooperative consists of 255 farmers. The name emphasizes the significance of women within the community. This year (2026), we are partnering with Nyampinga for the first time and offering coffee that we purchased during the last harvest.

In natural processing, the whole coffee cherries are dried before the bean is removed from the husk. Because the beans remain in contact with the pulp for a longer period, fruity and rich aromas develop. In the cup, this translates into notes of blueberry and cinnamon , creating full, sweet, and complex flavors.
